Mashup
Those
who look to the future understand
architecture as a dynamic system of relationships. These relationships blur the
distinctions between physical, natural and artificial. Such an interpretation
calls for broader collaborations and a commitment to explorations outside
established “comfort zones.” Too be able to leave
this comfort zone its dependant of understanding
materials and methods that will lead to advances in reinforced concrete design this will alter how the look of
buildings look such as placing large glass surfaces to the south and using
thick walls and often earth-integration resulting in a unique canvas for
innovation in structural design and to be resource preserving as well as life enhancing.

Moving Objects
1. Moving Lift - From structure to folly
A very simple up and down movement to the folly where the moving objects fits directly together with the folly
2. Moving Shutter/ roof shades
As the overall structure uses a thick concrete skin some sort of ventilation of sunlight is needed, thus a moving shutter.

Harau Valley
Conclusion - The way I considered my mash up was the a theory of a strong, blocky, harsh, simple and deceiving building that takes a non destructive approach to nature. As seen this look i think has been achieved through a thick concrete skin surrounding the school that is embedded into the valley.
